Sing in the City is an inclusive, welcoming choir where music brings people together. It’s a social, supportive space to build confidence, make friends, and find your voice, whether you’re brand new or returning to singing.
Who are Sing in the City?
We are a powerful, inclusive, musical family where voices unite and friendships flourish. Since 2010 we have provided unforgettable performances, community spirit and chart climbing music, we have turned singing into a life changing experience for thousands of people across Scotland.
We are also the choir the performed as part of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2025.
Founded by award winning musician and director Kirsty Baird BEM and run by her and her partner Annette Hanley, Sing in the City invites everyday people to become part of something extraordinary, on stage, in rehearsals and in life. There is a place for you here.
