Careers at Sing in the City (coaches and musicians)

We are always looking for new ‘inspiring’ coaches to teach our choirs. Full training is given and the job is rewarding, unique and you will be part of enthusiastic team.

At the moment we are also looking for electro acoustic guitar players for rehearsal musicians.  So if you live in Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy and can play to a high standard, have your own guitar and transport why not get in touch with a list of your musical experience and a video link of you playing and an audition can be organised.  We are looking for sociable, encouragin team players. You must be able to read chord charts and a recording of the songs (most genres and decades) are recorded for you to learn in as similiar style of playing.

Do you have a fun personality and the ability to give a group of singers confidence, encouragment and make them feel part of a family?

  • Confident leadership qualities
  • The ability to inspire and encourage
  • Team player qualities
  • Your own amplifier and radio microphone
  • Drivers with the use of a car
  • Ability to play an instrument is not essential but would be an advantage

The rewards are too numerous to mention but you would be part of a brilliant team that are not just running and developing choirs but making dreams come true.
