Sing in the City Aw Blacks

Tuesday, 19.00-21:00

Pilrig Church
1B Pilrig Street

The Aw Blacks are named after the All Blacks rugby team in a Scottish play on words and also they perform in black.

If you are looking to join a fantastic singing group that get to perform at a lot of quirky gigs then take look at our videos and get in touch.

If you have a good voice and are serious about your singing, prepared to do a bit of dancing then The Aw Blacks could be the choir for you. They are the only auditioned choir in Sing in the City and it was started back in April 2010.

They rehearse on a Tuesday for 2/3 hours and have other workshops throughout the year and frequent shows and events to prepare for.  The Aw Blacks are coached by the Directors Kirsty Baird and Annette Hanley with unique arrangements of original and cover songs.  They work with the Hanley and the Baird plan at all types of events.

Get in touch to arrange an audition.

Take a look at our Bananarama video from 2018 it will give you an idea of what is in store.
