Sing in the City performing at the Mound as part of Edinburgh Fringe

The weather stayed pretty perfect for a busk and just as well as 400+ members of Sing in the City choirs from across Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians came together to sing their set. Annette Hanley standing high on the mound steps next to some members of the public and Kirsty Baird down at the front in the middle of her choir members and around 1000 people standing watching.

The set started with REM’s Losing my religion and there was the usual audience participation with Kirsty and a couple of male highland fling dancers. Then moving on to the last song which was bound to cause musical chaos, Yes Sir I Can Boogie.

Sing in the City have been running choirs and entertaining for over 14 years and are very experienced at it. Members leave rehearsals and events feeling lighter, less stressed, more confident and just generally happier not to mention ‘buzzing’ which is a word used often.

Come and take a FREE trial night at one of our choirs and be a part of the next event.
