The Aw Blacks (their name comes from the fact they wear the black T Shirts and a Scottish mickey take of the All Blacks Rugby team)

This is the only auditioned group at Sing in the City. They still take part in all the events the other choirs rehearse for but in addition they have many other events to perform at.

They are pushed harder, developed more and there is a much bigger commitment required for this group.

If you think you have the time, a great voice and the ability to put dance moves in, send us a video of you singing for around 60 seconds. Send in 2 different song videos.

If you pass that part of the audition then we will arrange a movement audition and then when you sing for the Directors in person.

We performed at the open of the Edinburgh Trams

In Edinburgh airport at a proposal

In Holyrood palace

At the Festival Theatre

At the Queens Hall

We have performed at many weddings.
