We started our Music in the Community project in 2023. Our carehome visits with our Remember When singalong sessions were part of that. We provided one a month free of charge and plan to do 2 a month in 2024 all funded by our sister CIC (Community Interest Company) Chief Radio.

It’s not a concert, it’s a good old fashioned singalong with energy, dancing and singing. They are completely inclusive as every one remembers the words of their favourite songs from the 50s and 60s.

Music is one thing to evoke thought and you watch people come to life as they remember the words to songs from Cliff Richard, Elvis, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and much more.

These sing alongs suit all ages and all types of cognitive decline. You could be perfectly fit and healthy and just fancy some company and socialising.
