We have had our Dreampot for as long as Sing in the City has been in existence. After 15 years we decided to make it more official. So now we proudly announce our new Dreampot.
We created Hanley and the Baird Dreampot because music and creativity should be for everyone, not just those who can afford it, access it, or feel confident enough to try.
We open doors for children to explore music and the arts, and we bring uplifting performances and sing‑along sessions into care homes so older people are never left behind. For people living with cognitive decline, music can unlock memories, spark connection and bring moments of pure joy.
More than anything, our work helps people feel seen. It brings communities together, reduces loneliness, and reminds people – at every age and stage – that they still have something to offer, something to enjoy, and something to be part of.
It is never too early, and it is never too late, to try something new.
We have been running these events and classes for around 5 years. We have visiting carehomes and dementia cafes with Kirsty Baird’s Remember When Singalongs. We have taken music classes to schools. We have provided guitar classes for adults.
