A huge fundraiser for Sing in the City in 2017 was one of our cake bake events. Members bake biscuits and cakes and bring them to rehearsals, other members buy them and the 12 choirs at the time managed to raise a staggering £1694 and our very own Sing in the City Dreampot, will take that up to £2000 and it’s all going to Social Bite.
Social Bite is a leading homelessness charity and social business driving change across the UK. They bring together an amazing network of volunteers, donors, fundraisers, and partner organisations, united by our goal of ending homelessness.
At Sing in the City, fundraising and community work are high on our list of priorities. We spend a lot of time giving and doing things for others. We allow our members to have a say in which charities are supported. We consider ourselves #morethanachoir.
